神的帳幕在人間
1 亙 古 以 來 神 所 待 , 1 Through the ages Thou hast longed:
翹 望 新 城 得 建 造。 Build the city of Zion.
可 憐 人 竟 拂 祢 意 , Alas Thy will, man rebelled:
聚 首 掦 名 築 巴 別。 To Babel, their name they excelled.
祢 心 何 傷 復 沉 重 , Laden’d with sorrows untold;
皆 因 美 旨 仍 嚴 封。 For Thy will yet to unfold,
一 朝 邂 逅 亞 伯 蘭 , One day with Abram Thou didst meet,
積 忱 傾 訴 知 心 人。 Thy bosom’s thoughts found release.
